Starting today, booster doses of COVID19 vaccinations are now available in the Algoma District to people 50 and over.
In a release, Algoma Public Health states the agency, Indigenous-led vaccination clinics, and participating pharmacies and primary care partners are ready to offer COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to Algoma residents who are eligible.
To qualify for this booster dose, individuals must be aged 50 and over, and appointments need to be booked at least 168 days after a second dose.

Community clinics will also be offering booster doses across the Algoma district.
