There are four new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth.

Huron Perth Public Health updated their data on Monday afternoon with a total of 4 new confirmed COVID-19 cases since Friday and it brings the current active case count to 29.

There have been a total of 116 cases in the region.

HPPH says many of the current active cases are linked to each other in a variety of ways but they all can’t be attributed to one particular group of people.

They say more cases are being discovered as testing has increased from where it was when it began in March.

There are currently no hospitalizations for the virus in Huron Perth and the death toll remains at five.
