Steelers’ JuJu Smith-Schuster dances on Bengals’ logo, then takes big hit – Sportsnet.ca

JuJu Smith-Schuster knew exactly what he was doing.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ fourth-year receiver has a pre-game ritual this season, in which he dances on the midfield logo of each stadium (including his own) to Popp Hunna’s “Adderall.”

On Monday night at Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium, he did it again. In fact, Canadian teammate Chase Claypool was the one who filmed it, as Smith-Schuster bopped around on the Bengals’ striped “B” logo.

Clearly Smith-Schuster has heard the criticism about his logo dancing, because his video included a caption: “They told (me) to stop dancing on the logo and not to be yourself, so …”

Perhaps Smith-Schuster wishes he’d taken that advice, because in the first quarter he paid up for his pre-game antics.

Bengals safety Vonn Bell popped Smith-Schuster with a hard hit as the receiver hauled in a pass on a crossing route. The ball came loose, the Bengals recovered and they later scored. Ironically, the play happened only a few feet from that midfield logo.

When tweeting out their highlight, the Bengals called Smith-Schuster the “Pittsburgh TikTok star.” The New Jersey Devils chimed in too, tweeting, “Remind us not to Tik Tok on any logos.”

The lesson here might be this: never TikTok, at least not before an NFL game you’re playing in.
