Food contaminated with Salmonella can cause symptoms like fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. For people with weakened immune systems, Salmonella can even cause deadly infections.

Currently, no illnesses have been reported due to the products in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is investigating the contamination, which may lead to the recall of other products.

CFIA said that the recalled products have been sold nationally and online.
