
In its latest ‘Respiratory Virus Snapshot’, which is released once a week, OPH said it’s encouraging to see indicators are showing a decrease in respiratory viruses in Ottawa from the previous week, there are still high levels circulating in Ottawa.

“Every layer of protection matters, especially during these cold winter months,” OPH said in a Twitter thread. “And every action taken helps reduce the risks of these viruses continuing to spread. It all still matters.”
The latest data from OPH shows per cent positivity levels of 2.2 per cent for influenza (6.8 per cent last week) 8.8 per cent for RSV (10.9 per cent last week) and 17.3 per cent for COVID-19 (19.8 per cent last week).
