Welcome, welcome one and all to your weekly free games roundup. What an action-packed couple of weeks it’s been for gaming with the PlayStation Showcase, Summer Game Fest, Ubisoft Forward and Xbox Games Showcase showing us what we can expect over the next couple of months and years.
While many of those new releases are and will be pretty pricey, there are plenty of free games out there for you to nab too so join me as we round up the best freebies available this week. Let’s start with Steam. You can grab 12 delightful indies right now. Those are Ashes to Ashes, Death Roads, Street Sense 2, Grand Emprise, Their Land, Bunker Builder, Cat-aclysm, Exorsite, Force of Nature 2, Bee-Man, Untamed Tactics, and Cosmic Coliseum. After the seven day free trial, you’ll be charged the monthly subscription fee so do remember to cancel if it’s not for you, but access to all of the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry games in one place? Sounds great.
Finally, I’ve got to finish up by filling you in on the latest Xbox Games Pass updates. It’s been relatively quiet on that front but this week, Dordogne joined the service – a new narrative adventure. Phew, we made it to the end. Hopefully there’s something there for you to play.
