
Here is a partial list of what will be open and closed in Montreal during the Canada Day long weekend.
Canada Post offices will be closed and mail will not be collected or delivered on Monday.
Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) outlets will be closed on Saturday, whether their employees are on strike or not.
Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) outlets will be open, except for the ones located inside the closed shopping malls.
The city of Montreal’s offices, borough offices and permit counters will be closed Saturday through Monday.

Écocentres are open according to the summer schedule all week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., including Saturday. For more information, visit montreal.ca or call 311.

The Biodôme, Biosphère, Botanical Garden, Insectarium and Planetarium will be open on Saturday and Monday. For more information, consult espacepourlavie.ca.
The Montreal municipal courthouse at 775 Gosford St. will be closed on Saturday and Monday except for court appearances for suspects who are detained.
Montreal’s public markets will be open throughout the long weekend. These are selected Saturday hours:
- Marché Maisonneuve: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Marché Jean-Talon: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Marché Atwater: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Marché de Quartier Mont-Royal: open 24 hours
- Marché de Quartier Square Victoria (flowers): 7 to 10 a.m.
- Marché de Quartier Jean-Brillant: open 24 hours
- Marché de Quartier Place Jacques-Cartier: 11 a.m to 8 p.m.
- Marché de Quartier Papineau: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Revenue Quebec offices will be closed on Friday.
Société de transport de Montréal bus lines will operate on a holiday schedule on Saturday. Consult schedules at stm.info/en or call 514-288-6287.
Société de transport de Laval and Réseau de transport de Longueuil buses and adapted transit will run on their regular Saturday schedules.
Most Exo bus and train services will be operating on their regular Saturday schedule, with the exception of the Vaudreuil-Hudson train line, which will operate on its Sunday schedule.
Parking meters remain in operation unless otherwise specified and all restrictions must be obeyed.
