The second person works at the 2430 Dougall Ave. store. and – have tested positive for COVID-19,
“We are working with the local public health team and have taken a number of steps to minimize risk, including increased sanitization protocols and enforcing social distancing practices in the store,” said a Loblaw’s public relations spokesperson via email on Sunday. “The store also arranged for additional cleaning and has since reopened.
“Team members who worked closely with this individual are now at home in self-isolation, monitoring for any symptoms.”
Across Ontario, there were 121 new coronavirus cases as of Friday (the most up-to-date statistics available on the province’s website), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 35,656.
There were 150 people hospitalized with the virus, with 39 in intensive care units in Ontario. Of those 39, 26 are reported to be on ventilators.
Five people with the virus were hospitalized in Windsor.
Ontario had 31,083 resolved cases as of Friday.
