Coach Chadwell will be joined by McCall and Clark
CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina will join the rest of the new-look Sun Belt Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 26-27, at the 2022 Sun Belt Football Media Days, presented BuyB1.com, in New Orleans. Representing the Chanticleers will be head coach Jamey Chadwell, redshirt junior quarterback Grayson McCall, and redshirt senior nose tackle Jerrod Clark.
The event will also be broadcast nationwide on ESPN+.
For the first time in the conference’s 22-year football history, Sun Belt Football Media Days will be expanded into a two-day affair.
Sun Belt East Division programs—Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall, and Old Dominion—will participate on Tuesday, July 26.
Sun Belt West Division programs—Arkansas State, Louisiana, ULM, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas State, and Troy—will appear on Wednesday, July 27.
Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill will begin the festivities with his State of the Conference address at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT on Tuesday, July 26.
Chadwell and the Chants will be on the main stage at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT which will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Coastal will kick off the 2022 football season at home on Saturday, Sept. 3, versus Army at 7 p.m. ET.
