Liberal Leader Mark Carney has promised to speed up project approvals by establishing a single office for major federal project assessments that would render a decision after just one review. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre was campaigning in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., on Wednesday, where he repeated his promise that a government led by him would make those convicted three times of “serious” offences ineligible for bail, probation, parole or house arrest.
