CALGARY (CityNews) — Auburn Bay School has confirmed an outbreak of COVID-19, adding to the list of schools dealing with infections.
The K-4 school posted a notice to its website Sunday evening, confirming two or more positive cases of the virus have been identified.
Alberta Health Services declares an outbreak at schools with two or more cases.
In the statement, AHS says direct contacts of the cases will be contacted.
The letter also reminds anyone who may have been in the school and develops any symptoms to self-isolate, and to complete the AHS COVID-19 self-assessment tool.
