I am often hearing a particular question of interest. Perhaps you do as well.
Is automation technology and the use of artificial intelligence a right fit for your operation?
Been hearing this question in certain sectors, like…
Grocery merchandising, transport, and sales.
Automotive Industry
Retail merchandising and sales as well.
Libraries and governmental services
Banking services, management, kiosks, and sales
Ports, border security, and IRS Services
Both the Government and Private Corporations are looking for ways to save on costs and in particular for private concerns make greater profits. Imagine going to a border kiosk and passing through quickly knowing technology has reviewed your vehicle, passports, and possible criminal records. Automation presents us with electric A.I.-controlled drivers, sorters, and distributors. Computers share your personal information(thought to be safe) for all sorts of purposes…security, credit checks, and what sort of products interest you.
While this is going on many thousands-perhaps millions of people all over this planet are checked out, losing their jobs and having to rethink their futures. Why? It’s all about money, and accumulation of power. Information is power, placing those who have it at a pinnacle allowing them to manipulate suggestively, investigate immediately, and know their customer’s wishes even if they have suggested these to their own customers or citizens. Hundred of phone calls on your landlines and cellular phones too, persuading you what you should like, must have, or when it’s time to vote.
Long ago a group of people fought technology which was transforming their world and leaving many of them behind in the process. Feel like it’s happening again? Must we be like water, forever moving(Bruce Lee), or can we stand against this seemingly uncontrolled bulldozer of technology that was supposed to make our lives easier, not take away our livelihood? The Ports along the BC Coast have workers on strike, fighting not so much for more money, but jobs security and attempting to stop the process of automation in their sector. Profit and cost-cutting are much more important to both Profiteering Corporations and our own Governments. How and when will we stop this seemingly inevitable future concern? Can we stop the rise and trust of the machines shown by enterprises and Governments alike?
