Lorraine Hjalte said 25 tables were set up for the art festival, held along Main Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fewer people stopped by to check out the artists’ work in the morning, when it was overcast, but Hjalte said attendance picked up once the sun came out in the afternoon.
Artists have already contacted her to make sure they’re on the list for next year, said the owner of Main Street business Willow Creek Studio & Boutique.
“I would still like to see it be a town-wide event,” said Hjalte about next year’s art festival, adding that way the event would involve the whole business community.
The 2023 art festival will likely be held around the same time of year, in either late June or early July, said Hjalte.
