The solar eclipse on April 8 is being blamed for 118 Ontarians reporting eye issues.
The Ontario Association of Optometrists president says the reports indicate people have inflammation of the cornea and solar retinopathy after watching the eclipse.
In extreme cases solar retinopathy can cause permanent vision loss.
Those who reported eye damage to the association are from across Ontario.
