The Canada Child Benefit will be paid on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, and Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) payments are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 26, according to the federal government’s benefits calendar.
The Canada Revenue Agency’s payment-dates page gives the same CCB date, and it lists several other November payments for provincial and territorial programs administered by the agency. The table below pulls the November dates together.
| Date | Payment | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday, Nov. 10 | Ontario Trillium Benefit | CRA, Canada.ca calendar |
| Thursday, Nov. 19 | Canada Disability Benefit | Canada.ca calendar |
| Friday, Nov. 20 | Canada Child Benefit (CCB) | CRA, Canada.ca calendar |
| Wednesday, Nov. 25 | Newfoundland and Labrador Disability Benefit | CRA |
| Thursday, Nov. 26 | Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) | Canada.ca calendar |
| Friday, Nov. 27 | Alberta Child and Family Benefit; Veteran disability pension | CRA; Canada.ca calendar |
All of those dates fall on weekdays, so none is affected by a weekend.
The next CCB payment after November is scheduled for Dec. 11, according to the CRA. That is earlier than the usual date around the 20th of the month. Families budgeting for December should plan around the earlier deposit.
No GST/HST credit payment is scheduled for November. The CRA lists GST/HST credit payments on Jan. 5 and April 2 this year. The agency lists the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit on July 3 and Oct. 5, and the Advanced Canada Workers Benefit on Jan. 12, July 10 and Oct. 9, so none of those is scheduled for November.
The Alberta Child and Family Benefit is paid quarterly, on Feb. 27, May 27, Aug. 27 and Nov. 27, according to the CRA. Nov. 27 is the last payment of the year, so Albertans who receive it will not see another deposit until February.
The Ontario Trillium Benefit is paid monthly, and the CRA lists Nov. 10 and Dec. 10 as the next two dates.
The Canada.ca calendar says payments are issued on the listed dates but may take a few days to arrive, and that cheques can take longer than direct deposit. It advises waiting five to 10 business days before contacting the program. The CRA page lists a wait of five working days for some payments and 10 for others, so check the section for your benefit.
Employment Insurance does not follow a single monthly date. The Canada.ca calendar does not list a November EI date, so claimants need to check their My Service Canada Account for their own deposit days.
The Guaranteed Income Supplement is paid with Old Age Security, so recipients should expect it on the same day as OAS. Amounts depend on each person’s tax filing and circumstances, and anyone with a question about a specific payment can check CRA My Account or My Service Canada Account.
Canada News Media published the equivalent guide for the current month in its report on October benefit dates, and covered the one-time payout in what recipients of the groceries benefit would receive.
