According to Drive BC, a vehicle incident has stalled traffic in both directions.
“Vehicle incident between Brunswick Beach Rd and Porteau Cove Rd (3 km north of Lions Bay),” reads the Drive BC website about the Lions Bay incident. “Road closed. Assessment in progress. Expect delays due to congestion.”
Additionally, towards Whistler, north of Conroy Forest Service Road, traffic is stalled heading southbound.
“Crews are en route to assist,” reads a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, from Drive BC about the incident north of Squamish.
