Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker joined survivors, supporters and community leaders for an inspiring afternoon raising awareness and vital funds to help women thrive after breast cancer.
VAUGHAN, ON – On Sunday, September 27, after BREAST CANCER (ABC) welcomed survivors, supporters, business and community leaders to Bellvue Manor in Vaughan for its 14th Annual Pink Diamond Gala, presented by Deloitte.
The event raised thousands of dollars and inspired new connections and commitments, helping ABC provide aftercare products, education, resources and financial assistance to women facing barriers during recovery. It also highlighted the physical, emotional and financial challenges that can continue long after treatment ends.
“The support we felt in that room was extraordinary,” says Alicia Vianga, Founder and Executive Director of after BREAST CANCER. “Every person who attended, donated, sponsored or supported this Gala helped remind women that they do not have to navigate life after breast cancer alone. We are incredibly grateful.”
A highlight was an intimate fireside conversation with Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker.
“It was such an empowering and joyful afternoon,” says Jeanne Beker. “There is so much strength in women coming together, sharing our stories of survival and supporting one another. I was proud to be part of this amazing community and to share messages of light and positivity. The love in the room was truly something special.”

The Gala featured a Pink Carpet arrival, luncheon, entertainment, special guests and live auction, with Sam Ciccolini serving as Master of Ceremonies.
For 14 years, after BREAST CANCER has supported women facing financial barriers by providing essential recovery products and services, including mastectomy bras, camisoles and breast prostheses, at no out-of-pocket cost.

The Gala may be over, but the work continues. The journey doesn’t end with treatment.
Those wishing to continue supporting after BREAST CANCER and its programs can make a donation at afterbreastcancer.ca. Every contribution helps ABC continue providing vital support to women navigating life after breast cancer.
