Quebec duo Angine de Poitrine has announced a 2027 world tour that includes eight Canadian shows, starting March 4 in Melbourne, Australia and ending in the band’s hometown of Saguenay, Que., Global News and Billboard Canada reported Oct. 21.
The tour follows a banner September for the group, which won the $30,000 Polaris Music Prize for its album Vol. II and the $10,000 SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for the track Fabienk, according to The Canadian Press. It is the first act to claim both prizes at the same ceremony.
Updated Oct. 22, 2026: Global News revised its report on the morning of Oct. 22.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. local time, after presales that begin Oct. 27, Billboard Canada reported. Fans can sign up for presale access through a link on the band’s Laylo page, which Billboard Canada published with its story.
Billboard Canada listed the 2027 Canadian dates as follows. The band plays Calgary’s Grey Eagle Event Centre on March 28 and 29, then HISTORY Ottawa on March 31 and April 1. It moves on to Winnipeg’s Burton Cummings Theatre on April 6 and 7.
The run ends with a July 18 show at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre and a July 30 show at Zone Portuaire in Saguenay. The Canadian Press said the Toronto date is the duo’s largest headlining show in the city so far. Billboard Canada noted the band opened at the same venue for Jack White earlier this year.
The tour kicks off in Australia before moving through South America, North America and Europe, The Canadian Press reported. Billboard Canada said the band will play across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe before reaching Toronto. Neither outlet’s story gave a full list of the international dates, and Billboard Canada linked to the band’s Instagram post for the full itinerary.
Canadians do not have to wait until next year. Billboard Canada’s list also includes three fall dates: Nov. 5 at HISTORY in Toronto, Nov. 6 at Impérial Bell in Quebec City and Nov. 14 at Club Soda in Montreal.
Billboard Canada said the group made its debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a new song, Zugzegk, and has drawn public praise from Jack White, deadmau5 and Dave Grohl.
The announcement comes as Canada’s music industry looks to home-grown acts. Quebec music groups recently urged an offline push for local artists, and Juno submissions close Nov. 5 after a category overhaul.
