Another Balkan War on the Horizon

|
Kosovo has banned the import of Serbian Goods, showing the world a regional tender box of political and nationalistic tension. Uneasy neighbors still wallowing in territorial loss and national pride. The government of Kosovo banned all products coming in from their neighbor sitting security measures, all because Serbian Forces have arrested three Kosovo police officers accused of planning terroristic actions in Serbia. These police officers were also armed with automatic weapons. Serbian Forces were right to arrest these officers, detaining them, while forcing the border closed to possible weapons and
reinforcements trafficking. The Serbian Ministry commended Serbian pre-emptive actions against a foreign force trying to invade Serbia and carry out violent actions to destabilize and escalate tensions between the two nations.
Kosovo authorities claim that the three officers were indeed kidnapped. Journalist Aleksander Dikic insists that these actions are seen in the context of a conflict between Kosovo and Albanian People and that it has nothing to do with the Serbian President. These actions of The Pristina Government should be viewed as a potential conflict between the Serbian and Albanian people. These two people have been living in altering periods of history, between the Cold War, economic wars, and political verging onto actual war.
Blame can be placed squarely upon international players, some acting as mentors to these nations. Serbia has viewed Russia as a friend and ally. Perhaps V. Putin has called in favors, throwing massive amounts of cash toward the Serbian Nation to open a second front in the continual Ukrainian-Russian Conflict. Tying down large numbers of Canadian, EU, British and American troops in an effort to hold off or stop a Balkan Conflict. Political scientist Ognjen Gogic believes the Kosovo Government cannot justify its actions, possibly forcing a more severe warlike action. Usual responses from Kosovo have been to less severe, directly antagonizing Serbians in Kosovo.
Halting the import of Serbian Goods antagonizes ordinary Serbians in both Kosovo territory and Serbia. Perhaps there is a media-centered movement presented that challenges Serbians to take action against Kosovo, a warlike stance that may develop into a full-blown war. Will Canadian, British, and American Troops be going to The Balkans any time soon?
