Ever feel like this folks…
“Feeling down feeling blue
All the troubles come my way
But I just won’t worry
I’ll be lucky someday.
My money gone, ain’t got no friends
More debts than I can face.
But I’ll just not worry
I’ll be lucky someday” (the great Glen Campbell)
A colossal mix of depression, fear of the upcoming future, anxiety, and yet there it is…Hope and somehow a lick of luck.
This pandemic has brought us all down, feeling blue too. But have hope ya all. Think about what this health crisis has shown us and how we have responded in kind. Our society has many flaws indeed, and we have seen many of them 1st hand. How about those people and moments that have brightened our day, inspired us all, and encouraged us all to offer our neighbor a helping hand. We have seen our governments do the best they can to assist and protect us. We cheered on the many thousands of our medical nurses and doctors facing danger to assist us, protect, and win against the threat of death. The young and old who serve us at grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses stood up to fulfill our needs while making a wage that should be far higher than it is considering the danger they could face each day.
Remember when we banged our pots and pans for these incredible people, neighbors, and friends of ours. Hero’s that inspire each of us through this crazy journey we are living. Remember that it’s your light, your good thoughts that are needed these days. Smile, give a helping hand, share your good possible prosperity with those who have less, after all this is happening here in our communities, not in another far-off land. Your neighbor’s you know and do not are in this just like you. There is a great deal of wealth out there folks, and staying in your banks making little interest when it can do good is a challenge that you may need to accept.
Remember you’ll be lucky someday. Share that luck with others.
