Calgary’s most expensive home for sale is a $10.75-million estate on Crescent Road with downtown skyline views, and it is not new to the top spot: it has been listed for more than 500 days. The rest of the city’s top 10 is a mix of inner-city trophy homes in Mount Royal, Elbow Park and Bel-Aire and larger estates in Aspen Woods, Eagle Ridge and Pump Hill.
Calgary’s high end sits far below Vancouver and Toronto: the city’s 10th-priciest house asks less than $5.5 million, compared with nearly $17 million in Toronto. Our national list starts at $31.5 million. CREA reported last month that national sales had stalled for a fourth straight month, and the Bank of Canada decides on rates Oct. 28.
How we built this list: We ranked detached houses within Calgary by asking price, using active listings on REW.ca checked individually on Oct. 1, 2026. Two northeast Calgary acreages asking $6.999 million and $6.75 million are excluded because they are marketed as development land. A Bel-Aire bungalow listed as a court-ordered sale is also left out. None of these listings has a publicly reported celebrity owner.
A note on photos: listing photo galleries belong to the brokerages and photographers who made them, so we do not republish them. Each entry links to the full listing, where you can see the real home. Images in this story are file photos, not the listed properties.
