CF Montréal host East-leading Nashville SC on Saturday

CF Montréal host Nashville SC at Stade Saputo on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. MT) in a Major League Soccer match between the bottom and the top of the Eastern Conference.

Nashville lead the East with 66 points from 29 games, a record of 20 wins, six draws and three losses, according to Squawka. Montréal are 15th with 24 points and a record of six wins, six draws and 17 losses.

Nashville have not lost in five matches, with four wins and a draw in that stretch, Squawka reported. Their most recent result was a 1-1 draw at San Jose, according to Goal. Montréal have lost four of their past five matches in all competitions.

The match is Montréal’s second-last home game of the regular season, according to the club. CF Montréal host the Vancouver Whitecaps on the final day.

The game is on Apple TV. LiveSoccerTV lists it on TSN5 and RDS in Canada.

Montréal arrive after a difficult week. On Wednesday, Forge FC beat CF Montréal on penalties for the Canadian Championship after a 1-1 draw at Stade Saputo. Montréal were reduced to 10 men when Brayan Vera was sent off in the 54th minute, according to the Canadian Premier League.

Before that, CF Montréal earned a 1-1 draw with the Sounders in Seattle on Oct. 17, with Hennadii Synchuk scoring in the 13th minute. That point followed a 3-0 home loss to Atlanta United, which prompted a heated response from Montréal supporters. Head coach Philippe Eullafroy said then that “there’s a feeling, even internally, that some have given up,” The Canadian Press reported.

Neither club had confirmed a lineup before the match, according to Goal.

Elsewhere in MLS on Saturday, the Vancouver Whitecaps visit the Colorado Rapids at 10:30 p.m. ET (8:30 p.m. MT) and Toronto FC visit the Columbus Crew at 3:30 p.m. ET, according to LiveSoccerTV. The Whitecaps game is listed on TSN1 and TSN5, while the Toronto FC match is on Apple TV only.
