New branch establishes a permanent Saskatchewan presence and creates a foundation for continued growth, local leadership and industry development
Saskatoon, October 6, 2026 – Classic Fire + Life Safety, a leader in the fire protection and life safety industry, expands its presence in Saskatchewan with the opening of its first branch in Saskatoon. Led by industry veteran Chris Hilker, the branch is staffed by an experienced and passionate team of local fire protection professionals who have been working throughout the province for close to three years on projects like The Prince Albert Victoria Hospital Expansion Project, Dakota Dunes Thermal Spa, and the VIDO Expansion. The Saskatchewan-based team serviced the province with support from Classic’s Calgary branch, previously operating as Legacy Fire Protection. A member of the Classic Group of Companies since 2021, Chris Hilker brings with him years of experience in the industry, having worked his way from apprentice and fitter to managing crews and leading teams.
