Feist, Wainwright join Leonard Cohen tribute in Toronto

Feist, Rufus Wainwright and Serena Ryder will join Adam Cohen at Toronto’s Meridian Hall on Nov. 7 for a tribute concert marking 10 years since the death of his father, Leonard Cohen.

The Toronto show is the last Canadian stop on Everybody Knows: Leonard Cohen 10th Anniversary Concert Celebration, the first official tribute tour produced by the Cohen family, according to the announcement on the singer’s official website. Cohen died in November 2016.

The tour opens Nov. 2 at the Grand Théâtre de Québec in Quebec City, then moves to Théâtre Saint-Denis in Montreal, Cohen’s hometown, where dates are listed from Nov. 4. Toronto follows on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m., according to the Live Nation listing. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.

Billboard Canada reported on Oct. 26 that the Toronto lineup includes Feist, Wainwright and Ryder. Adam Cohen created and directs the show, which pairs Leonard Cohen’s songs with archival photos and film. His own son, Leonard Cohen’s grandson, performs with him.

The family’s announcement describes the production as sung by Adam Cohen and designed by Montreal studio Moment Factory. It is the family’s first official tribute tour since the 2017 memorial concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre.

“My father was grateful to his audience for keeping his songs alive,” Adam Cohen said in the announcement.

More special guests are to be announced, the announcement said. The tour continues in Europe in early 2027, though dates and venues have not been published.

The Montreal-born poet and songwriter remains one of Canada’s most celebrated artists. His work is still collected: a Cohen notebook sold for $174,000 at a memorabilia auction in March 2025.
