Seems every International Charity and NGO out there is telling me my cash will save a life in Gaza. Really? What we have seen on our digital devices looks like a horrible shit show where a mass of people were driven from their homes, many could not leave and are slowly dying of starvation and other causes.
How will they get the food, blankets, medicines, and my cash to the millions of Palestinians in Gaza? There is an Israeli blockade of most humanitarian efforts to assist. And if my cash gets to some little tyke who’s hungry, homeless and sick, will it help the child really? Is not feeding a potential future terrorist a good idea? Logistics are out the door as these organizations attempt to raise cash for their general coffers. I know this is not politically correct, socially unacceptable. We are supposed to be bleeding cash for these people, right?
Long ago, Palestinians were forced out of the New Rustic Israel. Many found long-term homes in the tent cities provided by the United Nations across the Middle East. These people are not allowed to travel outside of the tent cities, so ultimately, a governmental organization is holding them prisoners unless they are willing to leave the compound for good. Do you want the little tykes to go to massive tent cities where they can be indoctrinated in extremist Muslim causes, their only education the recital and interpretation of the Koran?
Don’t want to sound like a downer, but the cycle of violence, fatalism and hardship most people in that part of the world are experiencing seems unchanging, almost culturally accepted. Jew, Muslim, Christian or Bedouin, they all face an upward climb attempting to achieve what we all want, PEACE. Not just peace but also freedom from all the ancestral hardships the previous, present and future generations will face.
Even if our cash can fall into the hands of those who need it, will it change anything outside of providing a very limited meal, shelter or medicine? Will it challenge the horrific dreams these people will have, take away the hatred they have for their enemies, Israel and America? Donating to a Palestinian charity is like forking over money to buy a bomb or bullet. According to the United Nations, over 65% of Palestinian and Middle Eastern Charities funnel cash to so-called terrorists, the Hamas and Hezbollah of this world.
If you want to help these people, how do you do it? Who do you work with to direct your funds? Many charities take a good portion of the donations directed to them to help those in need. Often, the funds given in North America for a crisis across the world never leave the jurisdiction. The FBI, Interpol and other International Police Organizations are busy trying to stop the procurement of these needed funds by fraudsters and criminals alike.
Find a charity that can be acknowledged by someone you know to be just, truthful, accredited and certified by a democratic government or police agency. Otherwise, pray for the little tyke in the advertisement and save your funds for future adoptions of these homeless, distraught children/people.
Our concern for the homeless, hungry and ill in Gaza should not mislead us into believing Israel is a horrible nation, a people that steal the land of others and let them die. No, Israel was attacked by Hamas, and Israel’s rightful response was to exact both the defence of the Israeli People and revenge against a terrorist organization. This effort has led to genocidal tendencies often seen in other parts of the world. Both the Israeli and Palestinian People are victims. We should turn our attention towards those who carried out these horrid actions and demand justice for our fellow humanity.
