The Minnesota Vikings are the NFL’s only unbeaten team and sit atop our power rankings after Week 7, ahead of a San Francisco 49ers team that lost for the first time and a Kansas City Chiefs team that did the same. Records are current to the end of Week 7 games on Oct. 26, 2026. The order reflects record, margin of victory and how each team looked on the weekend.
Minnesota beat the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 to improve to 6-0, the league’s best record. The Chiefs fell 20-3 to the Seattle Seahawks, as we reported Sunday, and the 49ers lost 29-20 to the Atlanta Falcons. Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21.
No. 1: Minnesota Vikings (6-0). The only team without a loss. A 16-10 win over the Colts was not pretty, but it kept the best record in football.
No. 2: San Francisco 49ers (6-1). The 29-20 loss to the Falcons was their first of the season. They still own the NFC’s second-best record.

No. 6: Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2). Off this week at 4-2 and leading the AFC South, with the Colts, Texans and Titans all at least two games back.
No. 7: Denver Broncos (5-2). A 30-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals kept them at 5-2.
No. 8: Kansas City Chiefs (5-1). The 20-3 loss in Seattle ended a perfect start, but they still lead the AFC West by a game over the 5-2 Broncos.
