Donald Trump was abruptly whisked offstage during a rally in Butler, Pa., on Saturday when apparent gunshots echoed through the crowd.
The former president and presumptive Republican nominee was displaying a chart of border crossing numbers when the loud bangs erupted. Trump was seen reaching towards his neck, and what appeared to be blood was visible on his face.
As screams filled the air, Trump quickly ducked behind the riser while his protective detail rushed the stage. The bangs continued as agents attended to him, but the crowd cheered when he got back up and pumped his fist.
