London, United Kingdom (UK)- John Fury, the father of current WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has announced that he has insured his testicles for US$15 million.
The 58-year-old retired professional boxer is also the father to Tommy and Roman who are also professional boxers.
“I have insured my nuts for £10 million (US$15 million). I have got world champion nuts in these trousers, breed some kings I do. There are only champions coming out of these nuts it’s been proven hasn’t it,” said John.
In addition, Tyson said he believed his dad has made a wise decision by insuring his testicles citing that if anything happens to him, even at his age, he could still extract a few champions out of those.
“He insured them because that sperm produced the heavyweight champion of the world and it’s very valuable. So, if anything happens to him, even at his age, he could still extract a few champions out of those, so we will see.
Imagine this guy puts a load of swimmers in test tubes and freezes them and sells them, this is the proper half-brother of The Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, the heavyweight champion of the world, this potentially could be our next champion, so it’s worth a fortune.
See me, I have become heavyweight champion, but I have never produced a heavyweight champion,” said Tyson.
In addition, the WBC heavyweight said he is still planning to return to the ring in the month of December.
Several outlets in the UK have named Zimbabwean-born veteran boxer, Derek Chisora as the potential opponent, after discussions to hold a bout with Anthony Joshua fell apart.
“I don’t think anything has been signed yet but we are about to announce next week. There will be an announcement next week of an opponent. I think we have four or five different guys who are in the hat, in the running right now, and one will be selected next week and then it will be on like Donkey Kong on December 3.
It’s like eeny, meeny, miny, moe, whichever one of these guys I want to make a millionaire, because that’s what we are dealing with, whichever one I want to give the lottery ticket to basically.
In my opinion, Chisora at least got a draw with (Oleksandr) Usyk. So I see Chisora every bit as dangerous as Usyk, if it is Chisora (that I fight),” said Tyson.
Fury holds two wins over Chisora with a dominant decision win in 2011 and a lopsided stoppage in 2014.
