The Timiskaming Health Unit is confirming 40 new positive cases of COVID-19 (#727-766). 32 cases are in the north part, four cases are in the south part, and four cases are in the central part of the district of Timiskaming.
The individuals are self-isolating. The health unit is also listing one of the previously confirmed cases as being hospitalized.
There are 217 total active cases in our district.
