‘Good sign’: Wild’s Mats Zuccarello practises ahead of Game 5

Mats Zuccarello joined the team at practice on Monday, which head coach John Hynes called a “good sign” for his availability Tuesday against the Dallas Stars (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT), per Joe Smith of The Athletic.

Both Zuccarello and fellow forward Yakov Trenin will be listed as questionable.

Zuccarello sustained an upper-body injury after an elbow from Stars defenceman Tyler Myers in the first period of Game 1.

The 38-year-old registered 54 points in 59 games this season. He had three assists in Minnesota’s 6-1 Game 1 win.

Trenin suffered an upper-body injury in Game 2 after a hit from Stars forward Colin Blackwell.

The series is tied 2-2, with the winner set to face the Colorado Avalanche in Round 2.
