The Backstreet Boys have added a ninth show to their February 2027 residency at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, the band announced Oct. 7, which Billboard Canada reported is the most shows a single tour has played at the downtown stadium.

The nine nights could draw close to half a million fans. Billboard Canada estimated nearly 500,000 tickets if every show sells out, using the venue’s concert capacity of up to 55,000.
The band first announced four shows for the “Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada” run on Oct. 2. Daily Hive listed those dates as Feb. 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2027. CP24 reported that two more were added the following Monday, Oct. 5, and that the ninth, on Feb. 28, was announced in a social media post on Wednesday citing “overwhelming demand.” The band’s post read “Backstreet’s back, alright!” CTV News Toronto also reported the ninth show.
Billboard Canada listed all nine dates as Feb. 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28. CP24’s list of the run contained eight dates and did not include Feb. 14, so fans should confirm that date with the ticket seller.
Public tickets went on sale Friday at 10 a.m., CP24 reported, without naming a time zone or a ticket vendor. A presale for Rogers customers opened Oct. 5, Daily Hive reported. Prices have not been published in any of the reports reviewed.
Toronto is the band’s only North American stadium stop on the 2027 tour, Billboard Canada and Daily Hive both reported. Rogers and Live Nation Canada are co-presenting the shows.
“Canada was one of the first places to embrace us,” band member Brian Littrell said, according to Daily Hive. Erik Hoffman of Live Nation Canada said “few artists have a connection with Canadian fans as enduring and meaningful as the Backstreet Boys,” Daily Hive reported. Terrie Tweddle, Rogers’ chief brand and communications officer, said “fans from around the world are excited to see this iconic group live,” Billboard Canada reported.
The group last played Toronto in 2022, with two consecutive nights on its DNA World Tour, CP24 reported. Billboard Canada said the band also played the venue when it was still called the SkyDome, in 1998.
Billboard Canada said the venue holds about 40,000 for baseball after recent renovations, and up to 55,000 for concerts. The outlet’s record claim is not confirmed by the other reports, and the article it published gave inconsistent counts for earlier tours by The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, so Canada News Media has not repeated those comparisons.
