The Canada Disability Benefit pays on Nov. 19, the Canada child benefit on Nov. 20, and Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security payments on Nov. 26, according to the Government of Canada’s benefits payment dates calendar and the Canada Revenue Agency’s list of payment dates.
The government said payments are issued on the dates listed but may take a few days to arrive. People who get benefits by direct deposit generally see them on the date shown, while cheques can take longer.
Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security payments are both scheduled for Nov. 26, followed by Dec. 22 in December. Old Age Security benefits rose 1.4 per cent for the October to December 2026 quarter, the government said. For what the pension pays, see our look at how much CPP Canadians get in 2026.
The Canada Disability Benefit is paid on the third Thursday of each month, the government said. That puts the next payments on Nov. 19 and Dec. 17. Our earlier report covers the benefit’s monthly amounts.
The Canada child benefit is scheduled for Nov. 20 and Dec. 11, the CRA said. Its list shows no 2027 dates yet.
The Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, formerly the GST/HST credit, paid on Oct. 5, and the CRA has not listed a November date. Our guide to the GST/HST credit payment dates and amounts has the details.
Provincial payments listed by the CRA include the Ontario trillium benefit on Nov. 10 and Dec. 10, the Alberta child and family benefit on Nov. 27, and the Newfoundland and Labrador disability benefit on Nov. 25 and Dec. 24. Ontario residents can read more in our report on the Ontario trillium benefit.
No January 2027 dates for CPP, OAS or the Canada Disability Benefit have been published. Anyone who has not received a payment several business days after the scheduled date should check My Service Canada Account or CRA My Account, or contact the agency directly, rather than relying on third-party sites.
