Three of Canada’s national lottery draws delivered results this week, with a $32 million prize claimed on Lotto 6/49’s Gold Ball Draw, a $50 million Lotto Max jackpot rolling over, and a $1 million MaxMillions ticket sold in Newfoundland and Labrador. Lotto 6/49: Saturday, September 19
The Classic Draw numbers were 1, 4, 13, 18, 25 and 42, with 29 drawn as the bonus number. The Classic Draw carries a fixed $5 million jackpot for a full six number match. The larger prize on offer was the Gold Ball Draw, a companion raffle that grows by $2 million every time it goes unclaimed. One ticket matched the gold ball this draw and won $32 million.
Because the Gold Ball prize was claimed, it resets. The next Lotto 6/49 draw, on Wednesday, September 23, carries a Gold Ball Draw jackpot of $10 million, with a guaranteed $1 million prize if the top prize again goes unmatched.
Lotto Max: Friday, September 18
Friday’s Lotto Max numbers were 6, 8, 11, 14, 30, 39 and 41, with 47 drawn as the bonus. Nobody matched all seven main numbers, so the $50 million jackpot rolled over. A $1 million MaxMillions prize was won on a ticket sold online through Atlantic Lottery in Newfoundland and Labrador. Atlantic Lottery has not yet released further details on the winner.
The jackpot climbs to an estimated $55 million for the next draw on Tuesday, September 22, with four MaxMillions prizes also on offer.
Daily Grand: Thursday, September 17
Thursday’s Daily Grand numbers were 6, 7, 26, 28 and 45, with 4 drawn as the Grand Number. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life, or a $1 million lump sum option for winners who prefer a one time payout. A match of five numbers without the Grand Number pays $25,000 a year for life.
The next Daily Grand draw is Monday, September 21, with the same $1,000 a day for life top prize on offer.
