Forcible Confinement
On March 13, 2021, police responded to a report of an assault, which occurred within a residence shortly before 4:00 am. The victim fled the residence with her infant and ran to a neighbour for help.
The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
Police were unable to arrest the 24-year-old male suspect immediately following the assault, but he was located on March 15, 2021. He will appear in court on May 10, 2021 on charges of Assault and Forcible Confinement.
Break and Enter to Business
On March 15, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business in the 400 block of 13th street.
Suspects entered between March 12 and March 15, 2021 by forcing a door. Stolen were a variety of Rigid power tools including a sawsall, skill saw, 4.0 amp batteries and charger, impact gun, propane torch and hammer drill.

IPDA
On March 15, 2021, at approximately 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female who was running into traffic in the 1100 block of Louise Ave. Police located the 27-year-old female who was in no condition to be left on her own. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
On March 16, 2021, shortly after 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female knocking on doors in the area of Evergreen Blvd. Police located a 39-year-old intoxicated female who had no one to care for her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Theft Under $5000
On March 15, 2021 shortly after 2:00 pm, police responded to a report of the theft of property from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of 18th street N. Stolen was a tablet and a printer.
Footage from security cameras nearby assisted police in identifying and locating the suspect who was arrested at approximately 5:40 pm.
The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. The 47-year-old male will appear in court on June 7, 2021 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.
Assault
On March 15, 2021, shortly after 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault, which occurred in a residence earlier in the day at approximately 2:00 am.
The suspect struck the victim in the face. The victim did not require any medical attention.
The 23-year-old female suspect was located and arrested shortly before 6:00 pm. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service due to her level of intoxication and will be released when sober to appear in court on June 7, 2021 on a charge of Assault.
Theft of Utility Trailer
On March 15, 2021, police responded to a report of the theft of a utility trailer from the 100 block of 15th street sometime in the preceding two weeks. The trailer is described as galvanized steel, being 10 ft. X 5 ft. with a 2×8 wooden deck and MB license 787AK. Breach of Peace
On March 15, 2021 at approximately 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male who was throwing rocks near the 2400 block of Park Ave. Police located a 26-year-old male who was under the influence of illicit drugs. To prevent the male from causing further issues he was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.
On March 15, 2021 at 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female whose destructive behavior was escalating and others were concerned for her wellbeing. The 27-year-old female was located at a residence. Her family was not able to care for her in her state. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
On March 16, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. A 26-year-old female was intoxicated and had worn out her welcome with the residents of the home. She was arrested to prevent her behavior from escalating and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
On March 16, 2021, at approximately 1:00 am, police responded to a report of a 16-year-old intoxicated female who was causing problems for her family by throwing objects and yelling. Her family was unable to prevent her behavior from escalating. They requested that police remove her until she sobered. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service.
Theft Under
On March 15, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 000 block of 8th street at approximately 10:30 pm. One of the individuals responsible for the disturbance was also the suspect for a theft of a ladder, which occurred earlier in the day from the area of the Corral Centre. The 26-year-old male was arrested and the ladder was later recovered. He will appear in court on May 10, 2021 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.
Fail to Comply with Undertaking
On March 15, 2021, shortly before midnight, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 900 block of Princess Ave. The driver was suspended from driving and he was to abide by a court ordered curfew. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on June 8, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
