Health officials in B.C. are reporting another big day for new COVID-19 cases.
There are 716 new cases today, and three new deaths from the virus across the province.
In Interior Health there were 38 new cases. The breakdown of where those three new deaths are has not yet been provided.
Elsewhere in B.C., there were 383 new cases in Fraser Health, 230 in Vancouver Coastal Health, 21 in Island Health and 42 in Northern Health.
Active cases are up to 5,573, with now 303 people in hospital and 85 people in intensive care.
There were also 71 new cases with a variant of concern reported today. There have now been 1,581 total variant cases, with 148 active.
There have also now been 582,634 COVID-19 vaccines administered across B.C.
