Toronto, on – Production Company, DTRM INC. will premiere the highly anticipated film “Backspot” at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film stars Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld, Thirteen) as an exacting professional cheerleading coach, and Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs) in the role of the formidable Backspot trying to make a positive impression. Executive produced by Elliot Page, Matthew Jordan Smith, J.C. Davidson and Katisha Shaw from DTRM INC., “Backspot” is written/directed by D.W. Waterson (That’s My DJ), and produced by Alona Metzer, D.W. Waterson, Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs and Martin Katz.
