Canada has some of the best hotels in the world, and with FIFA hosting 13 World Cup games in Vancouver and Toronto this summer, there’s even more reason to stay close to home.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration for your next stay, U.S. News & World Report has released its list of the 25 best hotels in Canada for 2026.

Each year, the editors at U.S. News & World Report put together a ranking of luxury accommodations across the country, based on industry awards and recognition, guest reviews and expert opinions.

The “chic accommodations” at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto took the top spot for 2026, thanks in part to its charming Yorkville backdrop, top-notch restaurants, and spacious spa, which has consistently earned rave reviews from visitors.

A total of seven Toronto hotels made the list, including The Hazelton at No. 4, The Ritz-Carlton at No. 8, and The St. Regis at No. 9. The Shangri-La, Park Hyatt and Bisha Hotel were also named.

Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim took second place, with its central location on the city’s Coal Harbour waterfront, high-tech amenities and exceptional service listed as major draws. The nearby Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, Rosewood Hotel Georgia and Fairmont Hotel Vancouver also made the cut, coming in at No. 10, 22 and 23, respectively.

Canada’s winter playground Whistler, B.C. scored two top spots, with Four Seasons Resort Whistler placing third on the list and Fairmont Chateau Whistler at No. 21.

If postcard-perfect views of untamed coastline are your thing, the Wickaninnish Inn nestled in the rugged natural beauty of Tofino, B.C. came in at No. 7.

Quebec boasts six of the best hotels in Canada, including Four Seasons Hotel Montreal at No. 5, and The Ritz-Carlton Montreal at No. 6. Hotel Quintessence, Le Mount Stephen, Manoir Hovey and Auberge Saint-Antoine helped to round out the latter half.

Atlantic Canada’s Cabot Cape Breton, the remote Fogo Island Inn and The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax also earned bragging rights.
