Canadians actually believe that President Trump will negotiate smaller or less hurtful tariffs with Canada. Many believe the danger Canadians face from our neighbours down south has lessened. Perhaps a myth coming suggested by Ottawa, or from the impractical minds of our diplomatic sector.
America can force Canada into a massive recession that will, in turn, force our government’s hand towards accepting favourable status within an American Union. Yes, we can be annexed easily, or even have Canadians vote for that privilege. How?
1. 41% of Canada’s Corporations are American, or allied to America. They employ a combined population of millions of Canadians. Imagine if the American Federal Government contacts these firms and negotiates an agreement in principle with them, favourable to their corporate expectations, such as once Canada is the 51st State, these corporations have first dibs upon our resources, water rights and landmass. Can be done, folks. Then these corporations start downsizing and laying off their employee’s creating mass unemployment. Imagine the pressure upon Ottawa and each Provincial Capital to do something, yet what can they do but increase their welfare rolls and unemployment payouts.
2. A large unemployment rate will increase pressure upon government revenue, driving taxes higher, which in turn may drive other corporations out of Canada, increasing unemployment further. Taxes will increase along with our excessive federal debt, which the Federal Government will lay at the feet of the Provinces, who must manage and control the unemployment problem.
3. American contracts with Canadian Firms will be denied or ended, as a search for business in Canada will grow highly intensified due to a lack of American Business. The foreign markets will waiver and sit back watching the show in anticipation of its outcome.
4. The American Federal Government will invoke an America-only supply chain. Canadian firms that relied upon servicing the Federal Government will be shut out of all Military, Service and Contract bidding. Canadian Firms will become isolated in North America.
Finally, after only 6 months of this crisis, at a time when American interests believe our economy has suffered enough but the damage is reversible, President Trump will offer each Canadian aged 18+ $250,000+ dollars US as a purchasing offer for Canada. Canadian foreign debt will be paid by the US Government as Canada is allowed to slip into place as America’s 51st State. This can happen easily. Far to easily in fact if one considers the caliber of Canada’s Politicians.
