A memorial service for former B.C. New Democrat premier John Horgan was attended by 3,000 people, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other leaders from across the political spectrum. B.C. Premier David Eby and national NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh attended the memorial as did Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and John Rustad, the leader of B.C.’s Official Opposition Conservatives. Horgan died last month after his third bout with cancer. (Dec, 16, 2024)
