Toronto Lotto Max players should check their lottery tickets now, with the $55 million winning ticket from the Friday, Aug. 5 draw sold in the city.
In addition to the jackpot prize, an Encore prize winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Chatham-Kent, Ont.
OLG, Ontario’s lottery and gaming corporation, is advising the public that a winning $70 million Lotto Max ticket from the June 28, 2022 draw is still unclaimed. That ticket was also sold in Toronto.
Ontario lottery players can check their tickets from home on OLG.ca, by using the OLG App on their mobile device, signing up on OLG.ca for winning number email alerts or by calling the WIN! Line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto area) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946 (outside Toronto area).
Players have one year from the draw date to claim prizes.
Since its launch in September 2009, Lotto Max players in Ontario have won over $7.1 billion, including 93 jackpot wins and 776 Maxmillions prizes.
Lotto Max draws are twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and each play costs $5.
The next Lotto Max jackpot is estimated at $13 million. Tickets can be purchased authorized OLG retailers or buy online at OLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. Tuesday August 9, 2022 for the draw that evening.
