Lotto Results: 6/49, Max, Daily Grand, Sept. 15-17

Three national lottery draws were held across Canada between Tuesday and Thursday this week, and none of them produced a confirmed top-prize winner announced by a lottery corporation as of Friday morning. Lotto Max drew Tuesday, Lotto 6/49 drew Wednesday and Daily Grand drew Thursday, with regional Western Canada games running alongside the national draws.

The Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Draw produced a white ball on Wednesday, which pays the guaranteed $1 million rather than the rolling Gold Ball jackpot. That jackpot now carries forward to Saturday. The next Lotto Max draw is Friday night.

All numbers below are as published by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. Players should check tickets against an official retailer terminal or a lottery corporation website, since official prize calculations prevail over any published listing.

Lotto Max, Tuesday, Sept. 15

Winning numbers: 2, 23, 30, 38, 40, 44, 49. Bonus: 18. Extra: 3792398.

WCLC listed 40 separate MaxPlus exact-match number sets drawn alongside the main draw, and recorded no MaxMillions draws for this week. The full list of MaxPlus number sets is published on the lottery corporation websites.

Next draw: Friday, Sept. 18, with an estimated jackpot of $50 million, plus two $1 million prizes and 50 prizes of $100,000.

OLG reported the Lotto Max jackpot at $40 million, with no ticket matching all seven numbers. No ticket matched six numbers plus the bonus either, a tier worth $161,798.10. Twenty-six tickets matched six of seven for $6,340.70 each and 108 tickets matched five plus the bonus for $992 each, part of 106,576 cash winners across all tiers.

Lotto 6/49, Wednesday, Sept. 16

Classic Draw winning numbers: 3, 5, 19, 32, 46, 48. Bonus: 9. Extra: 2334848.

Gold Ball Draw: the winning number was 78039822-01, an exact match worth $1,000,000. The ball drawn was white, meaning the guaranteed $1 million prize was paid rather than the larger rolling jackpot.

Next draw: Saturday, Sept. 19, with a Gold Ball jackpot of $32 million or a guaranteed $1 million, and 19 balls remaining in the Gold Ball draw.

No ticket matched all six Classic Draw numbers, leaving the $5 million Classic jackpot unclaimed. Three tickets matched five numbers plus the bonus for $58,558.90 each and 67 tickets matched five of six for $1,101 each, according to OLG.

Daily Grand, Thursday, Sept. 17

Main Draw winning numbers: 6, 7, 26, 28, 45. Grand Number: 4. Extra: 6067869.

Daily Grand’s top prize is $1,000 a day for life, won by matching all five main numbers plus the Grand Number. The game draws every Monday and Thursday, so the next draw is Monday, Sept. 21.

OLG reported no ticket matched all five main numbers plus the Grand Number, so the top prize went unclaimed. One ticket matched all five main numbers without the Grand Number to win the second prize of $25,000 a year for life. Eleven tickets matched four numbers plus the Grand Number for $1,000 each and 62 tickets matched four of five for $500 each.

Western Max, Tuesday, Sept. 15

Winning numbers: 10, 14, 19, 25, 30, 33, 34. Bonus: 44.

WCLC also listed 14 additional exact-match number sets for this draw. Western Max is a regional game available in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Western 649, Wednesday, Sept. 16

Winning numbers: 10, 18, 28, 31, 34, 47. Bonus: 41.

Lightning Lotto, Thursday, Sept. 17

Winning numbers: 10, 11, 26, 32, 33. Bonus: 36. Lightning Lotto is a Western Canada regional game with a jackpot that varies by draw.

Prize claims and winner announcements are handled by the lottery corporation in the region where the ticket was sold: OLG in Ontario, WCLC in Western Canada and the territories, Loto-Quebec in Quebec, and Atlantic Lottery in the Atlantic provinces.
