
Provincial health officials announced 95 new cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths in Manitoba Saturday.
The deaths were all in the Winnipeg health region: a female in her 60s, a man in his 80s and a female in her 90s. The new cases include 31 in the Winnipeg health region; three in the Interlake-Eastern Health region; 59 in the Northern Health region; and two in the Southern Health-Santé Sud Health region.
There are 1,207 active cases. Of those, there are 79 people in hospital with active COVID-19, along with another 127 people in hospital who are no longer infectious but still require care.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and four per cent in Winnipeg.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba since the start of the pandemic is 31,329.
