Players can find 16 Retro CD collectibles in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, but they may have a hard time finding these small discs which are located all over the massive Pizzaplex. Players will need to search for the Retro CDs as they are trying to survive, avoid deadly animatronics, and make it to one of the endings in FNAF: Security Breach. The CDs can only be found after Freddy is upgraded with Montgomery Gator’s claws as well as Roxanne Wolf’s eyes, and Gregory needs to be inside Freddy to see them.
There are many collectibles to find throughout FNAF: Security Breach, but finding all of them will require a lot of exploring and even more sneaking around. Enemies like S.T.A.F.F. Bots or animatronics will be constantly roaming around the Pizzaplex looking for any opportunity to find and attack Gregory. Players can move using Freddy to avoid Gregory’s potential captors, but his battery depletes quickly, and there are some items players will need to find without him.
Along with collectibles in mystery boxes, such as the Monty Mask in FNAF: Security Breach, players will be able to find Retro CDs sitting out around the Pizzaplex. Most of them are fairly easy to spot if players are looking out for them while inside Freddy, but a few of the CDs require more thorough exploration. Players will need to find all 16 Retro CDs in FNAF: Security Breach before finishing the game by choosing an ending at 6:00 am.
Retro CD Collectible Locations in Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach
Players will need to decommission both Roxanne Wolf and Montgomery Gator, two of FNAF: Security Breach‘s scariest characters, in order to find and listen to the Retro CDs. Upgrading Freddy with Roxy’s eyes will give him the ability to see the Retro CD collectibles, and Monty’s claws allow Freddy to access new areas, including the secret room where players can listen to the CDs. Before getting to this hidden room, players will need to find all 16 Retro CDs in FNAF: Security Breach.
- Atrium: Players can find this Retro CD in the middle of the atrium on the main floor just above the nose of the large Freddy outline on the floor.
- Atrium Near Rockstar Row Entrance: Players can find this Retro CD by heading to the Atrium and moving toward Rockstar Row. At the stage where a cartoon Freddy and Bonnie are shown in the background, players can find the CD under the microphone at the base of the stage.
- Rockstar Row Entrance: At the entrance of Rockstar Row, there’s a pointing Helpy cutout, and the CD is above its hand.
- Rockstar Row: Players can locate this CD in the mouth of the cardboard kraken monster near the ship in Rockstar Row.
- Mazercise: In FNAF: Security Breach‘s Mazercise, players can find a CD in Freddy’s mouth at the soda machines.
- Bonnie Bowl: Inside Bonnie Bowl, there’s a stage with the curtain down, and players can find the CD on the edge of the ‘Closed’ sign.
- Kid’s Cove: The Kid’s Cove Retro CD is inside the partly open treasure chest.
- Roxy Raceway: Players can head to the bumper cars inside Roxy Raceway to find a CD on the seat of one of the cars.
- Roxy Raceway Salon: Inside Roxy Raceway, there’s a photoshoot set up, and the Retro CD will be attached to the Roxy plushie standing on the backdrop.
- Fazer Blast: This CD can be found in the trophy case inside the Fazer Blast Arena.
- West Arcade: Players can find this Retro CD on top of the microphone in the second karaoke room.
- Chica’s Bakery: Players will need to go to the large golden cupcake inside Chica’s Bakery in FNAF: Security Breach to find the CD.
- Rehearsal Stage: Players can find this CD behind Rockstar Row on the podium at the Rehearsal Stage.
- Monty’s Mini Golf: The Monty’s Mini Golf Retro CD can be found above the golf hole on top of the balcony.
- Maintenance Tunnel: While inside Freddy, players need to go to the maintenance tunnels from the beginning of the game and find the CD near the abstract Freddy drawing above a couch.
- Maintenance Tunnel Gated Area: Players will need to head to the spot where Vanessa first speaks to Freddy in the Maintenance Tunnel. Next to the medical booth is a gated area that Freddy can open after he’s upgraded with Monty’s claws, which are available towards the end of FNAF: Security Breach. Players can head up the stairs and find the CD being held by a Foxy plushie in the back room.
The last two Retro CDs were previously found at the Prize Counter and near the El Chips restaurant. However, the most recent 1.04 patch, which was released on December 23, 2021, has moved these final two Retro CDs to new locations in the gated section of the Maintenance Tunnel and the Atrium near the Rockstar Row entrance. Players can find the new Retro CDs as long as they’ve updated their game with the latest patch. The CDs have been placed in new locations in the Pizzaplex to avoid the glitches that were occurring in the original spots in which Freddy was unable to access and, therefore, identify them. Although the locations have changed, the messages on these two CDs remain the same.
After collecting all of the Retro CDs in FNAF: Security Breach, players can listen to them in a hidden room, but they will need to have decommissioned Montgomery Gator and upgraded Freddy with his claws. The room is located in the service tunnels that players go through at the beginning of the game. Players can now break through the fences in the area where they previously escaped Montgomery Gator in FNAF: Security Breach. There’s a note describing a hidden room, and the door will be revealed by taking a picture with the Faz Camera.
Players will find a Sister Location room in the hidden area, and there’s another mystery on the wall that players can try to decode. Inside the Sister Location room, players will be able to listen to the 16 Retro CDs they collected in FNAF: Security Breach. Each CD gives players some insight into Vanessa’s history through recorded therapy sessions. Players can uncover several new secrets about Vanessa by collecting every FNAF: Security Breach Retro CD collectible.
