On Saturday, October 15th, Oxygen Art Centre will celebrate its 20th anniversary from 1- 4 p.m.
Carol Wallace, Oxygen Board Member and acting board Secretary, extends an open invitation to the whole community and says admission is free.
“The event will be a wonderful opportunity to unite as a community while celebrating twenty years of artist-run programming in the Kootenays.”
The event will occur at the Oxygen Gallery and along the adjacent alleyway behind Baker Street between Stanley Street and Kootenay Street on the 300-block.
This family-friendly event will include art-making, music, dance, live painting, snacks, cake and refreshments.
To commemorate the anniversary, specially designed tote bags by Jonathan Ramos will be sold at the event while supplies last.
