When an election has finally been decided, and some politicians have won a position and others are simply losers needing to find another job, some form of mental closure should and often does pass upon the electorate, a certainty of what is in store for us in the future. That is until elections in 2024. America is investigating what this election has in store for it in the very near future.
We all face a challenge as everything we once thought was decided upon and considered final is being uprooted.
Prayer in Schools- Church & State separation is being challenged
Gender composition is being challenged as well. Arguments about restrooms in the Capital? Crazy eh?
Will same-sex marriages be acknowledged as legal any longer? Will they be unattainable in the near future?
Discussions about certain issues in schools such as the LGBTQ+ community, gender variants and even books written to express reality. Will these be no longer allowed to happen in schools?
The tensions between competing monotheistic religions (Jewish, Christian and Muslim) may well flare up within school or legislative environments. Let the cat out of the bag and commotion will happen guaranteed.
Close-mindedness will become the path for many, as conservatism roots itself into our governmental institutions, and all the while America’s Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves in obvious distress. America’s Supreme Court is the prime target from which conservative traditionalistic decisions will be made possibly making same-sex marriage, abortion, gender-bending and writing about the reality of this world, mentioning progressive thoughts in story form illegal. Censorship will reign.
Canada will have an election next year, and the Conservative Party of Canada is ready to ride the Republican gravy train of success up here. Liberal-NDP progressive policy will be no more as the Conservatives hitch their wagons to Donald Trump’s wagon train. Even Alberta’s Premier Danielle Smith approves of Trumpian Federal-State Policy, that is to say that authority will flow to the States-Provinces and not from Ottawa/Washington.
Change is coming folks. America’s electorate, you are getting what you asked for, so no complaining now and in the future. Canadians be aware of our conservative policymakers and their true ambitions. Who do they really work for, the corporate sector of the electorate? That is the question.
