
For the second day in a row, Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting no new COVID-19 related deaths.
The region’s death toll stays at 112.
But health officials are reporting 10 new cases of COVID-19, to put the regional total to 1,066.
Two of the new cases are from an outbreak at Conestoga Meats in Breslau, to put their total of positive tests to 91.
Meantime, another 10 cases have been resolved.
65 per cent of cases (697) have been resolved locally.
The active case load is 257.
Another retirement home has declared an outbreak.
Village Manor was added to the list after a resident tested positive.
There are 13 long-term care and retirement homes with outbreaks declared.
