Normalcy no longer exists

“You may want us to drink your magnificent Bourbon & California Chardonnay But You’ll Never take away our Freedom, unless you buy it Trump”

Tariffs away, and our politicians at play,
the media proclaims a recent bit of news,
economic diplomacy in secret back door phase too,
give it a guess since no one knows the possibilities.

Instead of having Canadians become their own best customers,
our representatives maybe selling us all down the river of dreams,
while having a ball in Washington DC.
Transparency is not, and accountability in decision is legally fought.

American and Canadian Trade Officials determine our future lives,
and the cost of living and essentials continue to rise.
Asked to trust these negotiators is simply unforgiveable you see,
cause they make big bucks, drive Lincolns and never watch TV.

We have put all our hopes into the hands of false “gods”,
while our business sectors remain on survival mode.
If a deal is made and all the hoopla is certainly claimed,
how do we know that President Trump will keep his word?
