The Liberals are now proposing four meetings a week until June 17 with a hybrid of in-person and virtual attendance that would see a small number of MPs in the chamber and others participating via two large video screens set up on either side of the Speaker’s chair.

There are 82,892 confirmed and presumptive cases in Canada, including including 6,277 deaths. The most are in Quebec at 46,141 confirmed cases, including 3,865 deaths, followed by Ontario with 25,040 confirmed cases, including including 2,048 deaths. Nunavut still has no confirmed cases or deaths, Yukon has 11 cases, and P.E.I. has 27.
