
Another two cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed by Region of Waterloo Public Health, matching the lowest daily increase for the month of June.
The region’s case load now sits at 1,191, with 974 of those cases (82 per cent) resolved.
The COVID-19 related death toll still sits at 115, after no new deaths were confirmed for the ninth straight day.
The number of active cases sits at 102, with 46 of those cases related to outbreaks.
It comes after 173 more tests were completed, the lowest daily increase seen in that regard since May 25.
Two outbreaks remain active in long-term care or retirement homes, though none of the new cases are related to them.
