
Alberta is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in the Central Health region.
The new confirmed case is travel related. A man between the ages of 20-39 who returned home from working in Alberta. He has been in self-isolation since arriving in the province.
Contact tracing has been completed by Public Health and anyone who was considered a close contact has been told to self-isolate.
The province still has nine active cases, one person has recovered since yesterday’s COVID-19 update.
The total number of confirmed cases in the province is now 283. Two hundred and seventy people have recovered from the virus and over 45,000 people have been tested.
